SUBMIT a STORY

Who can submit?
Current students and alumni from Monta Vista High School.

What are the topics?
See the front page for a list of topics for the year.

Criteria:
Your story must
- include personal experience.
- pertain to the topic.

Your story must not
- be solely an opinion.
- identify by name anyone (exception: yourself at your discretion).

Almost all submissions to the website are published in the issue. If for some reason your piece does not meet the criteria listed above, a notice will be posted on the home page after the first Sunday of the month and you will have the option to change your story to fit the criteria.

How can I submit?
There are three ways to submit a story:

1. Submit to any staff member, via email or hard copy.
2. Email verdadera.entries@gmail.com.
3. Fill out the form below.

Keep in mind that
- Your identity will never be revealed, unless you specify it to be so.
- There are no limits as to how long your entry is.
- It is better for you to submit the entry early than late.

Note: The Verdadera staff does not edit stories for spelling, grammar, syntax, or for any other literary reasons.  However, we do asterisk-out strong vulgar language.
