Based off of Los Gatos High School's Reality Check, Verdadera, meaning "truthfully" in Spanish, is a bluntly honest publication mailed home to all Monta Vista families discussing issues that that Monta Vista students face. It is comprised of real-life experience pieces submitted anonymously by MV students, professional advice on the issue, and occasionally, a parental perspective as well.

This publication is not your average newsletter; it contains the words and emotions of many students on campus. It was not created to inform; it was created to express, to reflect, and to release.

Verdadera is composed by the students at Monta Vista High School, and the ideas expressed within are not reflected by the school itself.
